Contract Information

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS:  To secure a date, a signed contract is required with a 50% retainer/deposit due at time of signing.  The retainer/deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.  Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a signed contract and retainer/deposit are received.  Client understands and agrees that the Makeup Artist will not book other sessions during this time.  In the event that Client cancels, 60 days or less from service date, or fails to show up on the date of service, for any reason, Makeup Artist shall suffer losses that are difficult to ascertain.  As such, Client agrees that, in the event of cancellation by Client, such retainer/deposit shall be forfeited by Client and paid to Makeup Artist as liquidated damages and not as penalty.  Client and Makeup Artist agree that such amount is reasonable.

LIABILITY:  All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application.  Makeup products used are hypoallergenic.  Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction.  Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

PARKING / TRAVEL FEES:  If parking, valet or toll fees are incurred; the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of the event.  No fee will be charged inside a 30 mile radius of the artist’s home.  Anything over 30 miles will be charged $25 per artist per hour for both directions.

PAYMENT:  The final balance is due on the day of the event – no exceptions.  The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract.

PARTIAL SERVICES:  We do not perform partial, “a little”, or “light” makeup for free.  The artist is happy to provide any look desired for booked appointments.  Even though a look may be “natural”, the cost of the service will remain the same regardless of style.  Please do not ask for “just a little makeup” if you have not booked and paid for an appointment.

OTHER FEES:  There is an early morning fee of $50 (booked before 8:00am).  There is a $100 fee for Holiday or Holiday weekend events.

DAY OF BOOKING:  There will be no last minute services accepted or performed on the day of the event.  Please make sure that anyone who wants services is listed on this booking contract.  Because we need a certain amount of time per person to give quality service, we refuse to rush through those who have booked and paid to fit in those who haven’t.  Getting a large party ready for a wedding/event can take several hours.  We want everyone to feel free to eat, drink and relax.  We will perform touch-ups right before we leave, so that the first person who had makeup done at 8:00am will feel just as fresh as the last person.  Touch-ups are provided ONLY for those who have paid for the initial service.
